The Huawei Battery Pack is the core energy storage unit within the Smart String ESS architecture. Built with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells, it delivers excellent thermal stability, long cycle life, and high safety standards. Each battery pack is designed to integrate seamlessly into Huawei’s LUNA2000 energy storage containers, allowing modular scalability from kilowatt-hour to megawatt-hour systems.
The pack offers up to 320 Ah capacity and nominal voltages between 51.2 V and 57.6 V, depending on the model. With a compact footprint and IP66 protection, it’s suitable for rugged environments. The pack is equipped with multiple safety layers including cell-level monitoring and robust electrical insulation, and it connects effortlessly into the system via Smart Rack Controllers for coordinated charging, discharging, and health management.
